Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy

AANYA JEWELLERY (“we”, “our”, “us”) values transparency and fairness while also maintaining strict controls required for high-value jewellery. This policy governs cancellations, returns, exchanges, and refunds in compliance with applicable Indian laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, GST laws, and industry norms for precious metals and gemstones.


1. Order Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled only immediately after placement and before processing begins.
  • Once an order is:
    • confirmed,
    • sent for hallmarking,
    • customized,
    • packed,
    • or handed over to a logistics partner,
      cancellation will not be permitted.
  • Customized, engraved, made-to-order, or size-altered jewellery cannot be cancelled once production starts.
  • AANYA JEWELLERY reserves the right to reject cancellation requests where processing has commenced.

2. Return Policy (High-Value Jewellery)

  • We offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery, subject to strict eligibility checks.
  • To be eligible for return:
    • Jewellery must be unused, unworn, unaltered
    • Original tags, seals, invoices, certificates, and packaging must be intact
    • No signs of wear, tampering, resizing, polishing, or damage
    • Original invoice and proof of purchase must be provided
  • Any return failing quality inspection or purity verification will be rejected and shipped back to the customer.


3. Mandatory Quality & Verification Checks

Due to the high value and sensitive nature of jewellery:

  • All returned items undergo:
    • Hallmark verification
    • Weight verification
    • Stone and setting inspection
    • Tamper and usage check
  • Verification is conducted internally or via authorized partners.
  • Returns are accepted only after successful verification.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

  • Customers must inspect the order immediately upon delivery.
  • Any issue related to:
    • damage,
    • manufacturing defect,
    • incorrect product
      must be reported within 14 days of receipt at info@aanyajewellery.com, along with clear images/videos.
  • Claims are subject to inspection and validation before approval.
  • Products covered under a manufacturer’s warranty must be addressed directly with the manufacturer, where applicable.

5. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Customized or personalized jewellery
  • Engraved items
  • Made-to-order or special orders
  • Jewellery altered or resized after delivery
  • Used or worn jewellery
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Gift cards

These exclusions are permitted under Indian consumer law due to the personalized and high-value nature of the products.


6. Exchanges

  • Direct exchanges are not supported.
  • Customers may:
    1. Return the eligible item (subject to approval)
    2. Place a new order separately after return acceptance

7. Refund Policy (GST-Aligned)

  • Refunds are processed only after successful return inspection and approval.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10–15 business days.
  • Refund amount will include:
    • Product value
    • Applicable GST (as per invoice)
  • Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

GST Compliance

  • Refunds are issued against the original tax invoice.
  • GST refunds are processed in accordance with Indian GST regulations.
  • Partial or altered returns may result in proportionate GST adjustment.

8. European Union Orders – Cooling-Off Period

If an order is shipped to the European Union, customers may cancel or return within 14 days of delivery, without justification, provided:

  • Jewellery is unused, unworn, and unaltered
  • Tags, seals, certificates, and packaging remain intact
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Verification checks will still apply before refund approval.


9. Consumer Protection Compliance (India)

This policy is framed in accordance with:

  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules
  • GST laws applicable in India

Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights available to consumers under Indian law.
